Are four legged furry family members enrich our lives and lessen our stress but animals can really do so much more to help us in our day to day lives. So much so that there are organizations that recognize the special talents of our friends of other species and cultivate them into controlled behavior to help us deal with everything from disabling anxiety to warning us when we are about to have a siezure!

Here are some video clips of these amazing animals, the work they do and the special bond that is created between the person and service animal.

Emma is a true hero to abused children! Her loving, calming presence is priceless to those she encounters.

Studies show that heart rate and blood pressure decrease when petting a dog or cat.

Dogs can sense when a seizure is about to occur sooner than the epileptic; warns the person and guards until symptoms have passed.

Dogs aren't the only animals that can become great service animals!
