Avoid Heat Stroke

Summer is the time to be outdoors soaking up the sun, playing in the water and just being much more active. During these summer months it's important to stay aware of how the heat is affecting you and keep yourself hydrated. Seniors and the very young are more susceptible to heat stroke. Watch the video below to recognize the signs and know what to do when you see them.

Our furry friends and family members can easily develop heat stroke too. Dogs process heat only through their nose, tongue and pads of the feet. Watch the video below to help protect Fido from the heat and NEVER leave your pet (or child) inside a car with window up and no air! Temperatures can reach 100-105 degrees or higher and can kill!
